SESIS IEPs for English Language LearnersAre you developing an IEP for an ELL in SESIS? Please review this document which will walk you through the steps necessary to create a valid IEP for an ELL.
Based on an agreement in July 2013 between the NYC Department of Education and the NY State Education Department, the X code field in CAP and its equivalent field in SESIS (also displayed in ATS) will no longer be used by the DOE. Instead, a new procedure, the English Language Acquisition Needs Determination (ELAND), will be used. ELAND Guidance is available on the Intranet.
